What Campaign is

Campaign lets an organization publish a budget behind a defined outcome. The organization commits its budget to an account it owns; the budget leaves that account only as the rewards and fees the organization signed for, or back to the organization's wallet when it reclaims what is unspent. A reward is released only when an outcome is verified against the rules published with the campaign. Campaign operates the software. It is not a bank, it is not a broker, and it does not take third-party money into an account of its own.

What signing in means

Signing in is a signature over a message you can read in full before you approve it. It proves that you control the address you are signing with. It authorizes no transaction and moves no funds. The signature, the message, the version of these terms, and the build of the site that showed them to you are recorded together, so what you agreed to stays reproducible.

Your account

Your address is your account. Any email address or phone number you add is used to reach you and to match completions reported by a partner, and nothing else. You are responsible for keeping the wallet that controls your address safe; nobody at Campaign can sign for you or recover it for you.

Rewards

A reward is a fixed amount of UDAO, payable when the outcome it names is verified under the rules that were in force when you joined the campaign. Those rules are published on the campaign page and are frozen when the campaign goes live. Verification can be refused, and when it is, the reason is shown to you and you can open a case about it.

UDAO is a digital token issued by the operator of Campaign itself, UDAO SkillsValley AG (formerly anywAI AG), which also receives the platform fee taken on each reward. The value of UDAO in money changes and can fall, to nothing. UDAO may be hard to sell, and you cannot buy it from Campaign or through it. A reward is not interest and it is not a return on anything, and nobody promises what a reward is worth in money. Rewards may count as income where you live, and any tax on them is yours to declare.

An organization may not state a price, a value in money or an investment claim about a reward in a campaign's title, summary or description.

Changes to this text

A new version is recorded under a new version string, and you accept it at your next sign-in. Previous acceptances are kept as they were.
